   Dear All,
   
   There are two very exciting events coming up at the end of february that we'd love to see you at. I'll be at both and have a feeling they could both be life-changing for me and probably others.
   The first is the screening of the film Birth As We Know It. As yet I haven't seen the entire film but I have seen the 10 minuite trailer on www.birthasweknowit.com which was enought to make me agree to assist with the screening almost immediately. As one of the reviews says;
   "My goodness, what a gorgeous piece of work. I often find birth films either overly romantic or overly political. "Birth As We Know It" is neither, but manages to deliver an unmistakeable and unforgettable message. The viewer feels treated as gently as do the parents who are bringing their babies into the outside world." Dr. Michael Trout, APPPAH vice-president
   
   It also covers some other, often not talked about topics such as Sexuality of Childbirth, Circumcision and Limbic Imprinting (Limbic Imprinting is further explained at www.birthintobeing.com) These are all topics, I believe, we need to start a discussion over.
   
   As an added bonus a precentage of the proffits from this screening will be donated to Maternity Coalition Queensland Branch to assist with continuing the fantastic work they do for birth reform. Proudly sponsored by Griffith University.
   
   The second amazing event is the Birth into Being Birthshop (workshop), being held near Byron Bay. It gives us a chance to re-code our limbic imprint.
   
   'We come into this world wide-open to receive love. When we receive it as our first primal experience, our nervous system is limbically imprinted, "programmed" with the undeniable rightness of being. Being held in mother's loving arms and seeing the great joy in father's eyes provides us with the natural sense of bliss and security; it sets the world as the right place for us to be in.    As someone whose creation was not ideal I wonder what messages I have carried through about myself and how this effects how I deal with others and in particular how I parent? Interestingly the conception of my first son was almost a mirror image to my own conception and from what I understand they both mirriored my mothers conception...
   
   So I'm keen to break this cycle and I think the cost of the course is cheap given it will be over-riding 32 years of pattern behaviour.
   
   I've a double sided flyer and would appreciate (and I'm sure those you send this on to will appreciate) you forwarding this information to anyone and eveyone, and printing out the flyer to pass it on would be even better!
